But if we also want to play on server that use version 1.6.9.2, then we can rename the jointops.exe maybe to "j1.6.9.2.exe" before and so we do not have to overide this file. (We do not need a NovaLogic folder, only a game folder / Joint Operations folder.)

I also join on 1.6.9.2 -server using version 1.7.1.9. And all AW-Mod-Players use version 1.6.9.2 or compatible versions, because version 1.7.5.7 is to buggy for the AW-Mod. Playing the IC-Mod the version 1.7.5.7 is buggy too, because the tank with the PSP is not working, so we can not spawn on it. With the SG-Mod the dresses of the Jaffa are flickering very unbeautiful.

I see no benefit to use version 1.7.5.7. All widescreen-modes(up to 1920x1200) are also aviable in the version 1.7.1.9. The few new commands that comes with version 1.7.5.7 are not in use, because i never see any map with this commands. The new code for to prevent us for cheater is not working propper. And many, many, more bugs comes with version 1.7.5.7 so i stull result the version 1.7.5.7 is a very bad version at all hazards.

Okay lets just start from the beginning...

 

I'm just now getting back into the Novalogic world after many years of wanting to.  I started back with BHD and worked my way up to DFX. Enjoyed and still every single one of them.  Just last night I started reinstalling the games on a new cpu and came across some difficulties....

 BHD installed just fine. DFX, still trying to find .

 

 JOTR on the other hand....installed. Tried to update through the in-game menu, didnt work!!! Took a look into this forum and found this section!!!

Used the first update link that Digital Ghost =ADE=. Followed the steps, everything worked as far as finally getting into finally logging into Novaworld during in-game setup. Finally being able to see servers to join to get to finally playing!!!

Well......

Picked a server, then it said something like...

 

Your game is incompatable with this server. Please go to Novalogic.com for more information regarding what version of the game....and so on and so...

 

What should I do?
